Mayor  Ballis H.  Simpson, Ethelyn Sherwood, and Edith Hughes welcomed guests in the morning.

 

The state executive meeting was held at the Business Woman’s Club (right), headquarters for the OWSA officers, in the evening. Florence Allen (left) spoke on “The Right to Think” in auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce. In her talk, she highlighted struggles of men and women throughout history for the right to think, particularly women’s right.  Mary Longsworth introduced Allen. The College Women’s Clubs hosted this event. Members of the City Federation, College Women’s Clubs, and their guests were invited.
