The Allen County Political Equality Club launched a six-week campaign before voting day on September 3, 1912. Local suffragists campaigned throughout Allen County and also reached out to communities in Auglaize and Mercer Counties. They found success in open-air, mass meetings to garner support for their cause. In these meetings, musicians performed and orators spoke.
